Pastor Dan and Rhonda Martin have been married for over 22 years. They moved to Arizona in 1997, along with their three children Eric, Shawn and Emilee. They have dedicated their lives to serve God and have been involved in ministry to children, youth , and adults.
For the past ten years they have been on staff at Desert Springs Church in Chandler, AZ, which is a church that breathes church planting. Catching that vision, Dan and Rhonda began to see God unfold His plan for them to plant a church in Queen Creek, Arizona. They began to dream of a church that would connect with the community, stretch across the generations, and infuse hope into people’s lives.
Pastor Dan and Rhonda have completed classes through Berean Bible Institute, North Central Bible College (Dan), and are both Desert Springs Leadership Institute Graduates. They both hold their credentials with the Assemblies of God.
Lyle and Laurie Vilhauer, together, have been involved in volunteer and occupational ministry for over 26 years.
Three years ago, they moved to Arizona from Nashville, TN. There, Lyle served on the worship team for 11 years, and assisted with worship in several new church plants including Jacksonville, FL, Murfreesboro, Clarksville & Nashville, TN, & New York City after 9/11, where he commuted for a year and a half. He has also assisted numerous ministries both in the states and abroad, with audio needs. His heart is to see worship in the church brought to a new level, pleasing to the Lord, and alive in people.
Laurie has served in various roles of ministry for over 30 years. She has assisted church plants in Minneapolis, MN, Nashville, TN, and Chandler, AZ. She is a resource writer for churches, and her passion is to assist pastors by interpreting their vision into a plan of action for the church to carry out. She is certified in Non-Profit management and Fund Development. She graduated from Victory Leadership Institute which she attended from 2000 – 2002.
Both attended North Central Bible College, and Jamestown College. They have traveled on missions trips to Portugal, Spain, and England. They have 3 boys, Blake, Brady, and Brennan who are involved in the Worship services at Infusion Community Church.
Jonathan and Jennifer Ooms, have been married for over eight years and together they have been involved in volunteer ministry for over eight years.
For the past five years, they have served as volunteers at Desert Springs Church in youth, adult and worship ministries. Jonathan has served in various non-profit organizations and churches for the past seventeen years running after school programs, summer camps, technology centers and even puppetry programs. They have traveled on missions trips to Mexico and Ireland. His heart is to see Churches serving in their communities through youth and teens and churches working together at a new level to spread the good news.
Jonathan holds a degree in Recreation Management with a specialization in American Humanics (Youth Non-Profit Business Management) and is also a graduate of the Desert Springs Leadership Institute.
